THE CHALLENGE

KSDT Radio’s spring concert is one of the station’s biggest moments of the year, bringing together music, community, and student culture at UCSD. With headliner Chanel Beads, the event needed a visual identity that could cut through campus noise and reflect the artist’s atmospheric, genre-blurring sound. 2026 was the first year our team created a cohesive brand identity for the event.

DESIGN SOLUTION

The visual system translates sound into form. Repeating, wave-like shapes mimic audio frequencies, creating a sense of rhythm, distortion, and movement across the composition. High-contrast black and grey grounds the identity, while oversized typography anchors the layout and ensures legibility at a distance. The result is both expressive and functional: a system that feels immersive and sonic, while scaling easily across formats.

WHAT I DID

I developed the visual concept and designed the full identity system, including the poster, merchandise, and scalable assets for digital and physical promotion.
